This technique requires that there already be a source of liquid lava on site, meaning that another Yoton technique must be used prior to this on. The user forms the necessary hand seals, then then slams their foot to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards the target as a slicing jet.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)

A Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a clone of the user, unlike a normal clone, the water clone has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.
Mizu no Tatsumaki (Tornado of Water)

A technique that utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around the ninja. The water acts both as a barrier and attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious.

The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

The Godaime Mizukage has undergone a rigorous training regime that, after many years of practicing, now allows her to remain unaffected by most Genjutsu techniques. However, the goal of the training was not to resist any illusionary techniques- that was just a side effect; the real goal was to be able to resist the Genjustu cast by the Sharingan. Due to the Yondaime Mizukage being controlled through the majority of his reign, by what the elders of the Mist Village believe to have been the Sharingan, it was imperative that any and all candidates for the position as village leader train their bodies and minds to resist such influences. Anei was the only one able to complete the training, and as such, she was given the title of Godaime Mizukage.
