Yea, so er...

I was just wondering if there was a limit to how many jutsus/techniques someone of a certain rank could have?

Previous Naruto-RPGs I've been to had jutsu-limits depending on rank {e.g. genin get this number of techs, chuunin get this much and so forth} so I was wondering if the same applies here?

I know in the profile template it says "don't overpower your character" and all that jazz, but how much is too much?

It depends actually, like you mentioned before a chuunin would obviously have (or should) have more then a genin while a jounin has more then both of them often at times put together. Sense all ninja are required to know the basic jutsus from the academy in order to graduate thats 5-10 jutsu's already. So I would say there's no REAL reason to have more then 20-30+ jutsu unless you're a taijutsu user...but yeah...as long as every other jutsu doesn't have the power to blow people into next week you should be fine with whatever amount you pick.
