Personality: : When first shown, Sasuke gave off a feeling of indifference to anyone, even Jounin teachers such as Hatake Kakashi. In this manner, he was the 'cool guy' as judged by the girls of Konoha whom all had crushes on him. In time, Sasuke gained a rivalry with Naruto and the two became very vague friends so that each could challenge the other to grow stronger. He was happy with the way things were going but soon realized Naruto's growth was progressing more than his own. Eventually Orochimaru took advantage of this and gave him the Cursed Seal of Heaven.

After gaining the seal, he grew more violent, and soon treated his friends as opponents to bring himself closer to the elite level of his brother. He soon started to realize he needed his friends to survive. They all needed each other. Even though he would never admit it he was glad to be friends with both Naruto and Sakura. Yet his anger for Itachi increased when he and Akatsuki took over the villages. His desire to kill Itachi has increased through the years.
